These are the exact words of Mr Olanrewaju Ajibade, one of the 1000 fish farmers networked into USAID/MARKETS II Aquaculture in Oyo State in the year 2015.
What prompted that statement was the help he received from another member of the group he belonged to in the project. His farm had been affected by flood which led to huge financial loss as his farm was due to harvesting.
It was his friend that leased to him another land to continue practicing his fish farming business as the previous land was prone to flood.
This incident is a testimony to the fact USAID/MARKETS II had greatly impacted the people in many ways beyond training and capacity building. The farmers were happy for the benefit they derived from the training and network of new friends and acquaintances
